EARTH LAND:
On-going performance project investigating the relation of human and nature through movement (collaboration with Francesca Argenta)
After having worked with Natalie Nahyun Seo in Lanzarote, creating work on the concept of movement directed by nature and being part of Impulstanz (International Performance Festival, Vienna), an intense time being surrounded by queer identities from around the world and their multiple forms of dance and movement expression, performer and artist Francesca Argenta and I thought of the concept of how movement and its choreographic forms are always based on the body collaborating with its spatial environment. This collaboration then transforms an environment into both counterpart/partner and stage. Earth Land takes this concept to create intuitive performances with nature, investigating the characteristics of nature as collaborator. This performative research project is on-going.
